THE ENCHANTING VERSES INTERNATIONAL ORGANIZATION

    Board of Administrators and Editorial

Director's Note:-

Editing a magazine or a newspaper is very much different from reading and commenting on things. Its like performing a sea swim by an experienced swimmer who has been in the sea for many times before yet mistakes are no exception and the simplest mistake could be disastrous. In the same way editing is done by experts in their respective  fields. The editors at each moment remains cautious not to underestimate or overestimate any author's work just as a swimmer remains cautious never to underestimate the nature's fury but at the same time he never lets the sea overwhelm his own capability.Underrating a work can be disastrous in the sense that it may discourage the author to an extent that all the goods which were still to be uncovered through his pen might stop forever and overrating may prevent the author from further improving his write ups.So a perfect balance of mind along with an impartial  attitude has to be maintained while reviewing hundreds of works. Also the editing should be of such type that new authors get an opportunity to learn the best by reading the selected published works.
Coming to editing of poetries , it becomes more difficult to edit poetries than other objects of fiction or non fiction stories because of the very fact that poetry has got a license what we call as "Poetic License" which empowers poets to introduce daily new elements and ways of writing in their poetries.Yes we have the power to select few upon them but no one in this world can disapprove the new theories in the landscape of poetry writing. So editing the poetries and choosing just a handful among them is like toiling to find Specks of Gold in a mist of sun rays. Also every poet when he is putting up a poem pens down his own thoughts and feelings and we have no right to neglect others' feelings or even sentiments. In these tough situations we select only those poems in three steps of deduction which is approved by all the editors including the three
chief editors of this magazine. We try to decipher every theme that a poem presents but it is not always possible to get to the person's real thoughts through his/her write ups.Only those poems are selected which appeals towards nature, tradition, modernism or any other aspect of life to a broader aspect with absolute clearity of language and nobleness of attitude. The certification of "The Enchanting Poet" is given to those individuals who have either contributed a lot to the literary arena of poetry writing or who has been selected simultaneously by all the editors  for his/her excellent poetry.
Last but never the least "One should take pride in his own work in a daily basis without waiting for mentors to appreciate them" but one can always take our help to present himself/herself infront of the world through their submissions.

DINABANDHU NAYAK(Asst. Director & Chief Editor)

Dinabandhu Nayak(b-1943) is in his sixties. He retired as an official of Life Insurance corporation.Mr. Nayak in his hometown is regarded as a light that enlightens the society. He is widely acclaimed as a savant.Strangely enough, he was a scholar par excellence in his youth.Destiny led him away from that to serve its own purpose. The first glow of scholarship that flashed forth in his youth is evident from his write up on a village named Sripur which he calls as the "Bower of Wealth".This treatise was published almost after three decades from the date it was written.Thia epilogue written after thirty years after the main body of this wonderful work moves to and fro from the remote past to the present times recollecting the myths that pervade the whole span of time of at least hundred years or more. The so called scholarly books are written in such a manner that they seem to claim of absolute truth. But there cannot be anything called impersonal truth. However Mr. Nayak has never fallen prey to such fallacious attitude so as to claim absolute truth for himself.Mr. Nayak's poetry waited the same span of decades before coming into book publications. The poetry in his highly appreciated book "Consecration" had their origin in Bengali language and were later translated to English by him.In other words his writings have "Food for the Future".His poetry once again indicates the tremendous farsightedness that this man posses which is evident from the very fact that the themes in his poetry which came to his mind decades ago finds application in the modern world. The style of his poetry is traditional which uses visual effects to place their themes.Other than poetry and scholarly books he has also written biographical books stressing on the biographies of those persons who demands respect in the community for their noble work towards the society and yet have remain unrecognized by masses. With his kind consent Mr. D.B. Nayak has agreed upon editing the contents of this International magazine. His comments and review will surely encourage and provide the poets and writers with deeper thoughts and help them to further improve upon their writing.

Write Up

Writing,
Seeing with eyes of mine.
Learning with deep feelings.
Behind the curtain of reality.

There is the joining line.

Between the easy and the true.
Between heaven and earth.
Between the concrete and the abstract.
In the distant horizon.
Write up.

A sweet fruit.

That springs up from the churning of the heart.

Real and revealed

The eternal and the true and the effulgent.

Simple and straight.

In the slumber of the bid

ceaseless fragrance shut
up carefully.

                                                                         -Dinabandhu Nayak.
